L-Dog has started Kindergarten, though is still at the same school he has been attending since he was an infant. We're prolonging the time until we need to send him to a 'big' school for 1st Grade. I already am having stresses over how all that will work out. Needless to say though, he won't be riding the school bus for the 500 yard trip from our home to the school.
Work has been incredibly busy which has been good - I've not had any time to devote to the foundation, which consequently is in a bit of a holding pattern until the financial hostage of Hip Monkey is released. It's very disheartening to know there are so many families desperately awaiting our help and there is literally nothing we can do about it right now.
I am continuing to practice my photography skills - I just upgraded my camera body to something that is WAY beyond my current needs, but that hopefully will be a sound investment. I hope to focus on that a little more over the winter to be ready in Spring to expand my little business and see if there is a money making opportunity for me there.
That pretty much brings you up to date with things in my world. I have terribly neglected this blog and my friends in blog land, but I am hoping to be able to spend a little more time both keeping you up to date and myself.
